Centre part of the pumping system is the turbomolecular pump, equipped with integrated connections for the ranges of the big leak – fine leak. A measuring chamber with deflection system is fitted without reduced cross-section directly on the turbo. The valve-plate is fitted in similar way to the turbo block, containing coarse leak-, fine leak-, evacuating-, venting- and calibration valve. All valve seats are easy replaceable. With this arrangement short evacuation times are achieved and low permeation rates by optimal choice of seal parameters.
